18. Saving Savior

I had last posted my Alphabetical Attributes on February 23rd, but now I am resuming them. My apologies for not posting in a while.

Today we look at the letter S. Jesus Christ is our Saving Savior. The name "Savior" means, of course, "one who saves." The name "Jesus" is Hebrew for "Salvation." So yes, our precious Lord Jesus is the Savior of the world, having come to earth to die for you and take your punishment to keep you out of Hell.

The King James Bible is the only Bible you should read. It spells "savior" with a U; "saviour." I remember my late Pastor always spelling it as such because he took the Bible literally, even the archaic Old English spelling of certain words and names. There is no difference in the meaning of the word, but you can always spot a fake bible by the way it spells "savior:" without the U. I've even heard of some people insisting that it's spelled without the U because that's how it's spelled in today's English. This brought about a stupid heresy that the Christ-rejecters insist upon. Again I strongly advise you to read the King James Bible ONLY, because all others are men's fiction and today's worldliness.

The Bible refers to both God the Father and God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as our Savior:

Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. >>> God

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. >>> Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the only Savior of the world. He knew what God wanted Him to do, that is, suffer and die, be buried, and rise again on the third day, from before time began. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this, and these Three are One.

Here are some verses from the trusty King James Bible for you to consider. I hope you are saved, born again, today. All you must do is believe that Christ died, was buried and rose again for you in full payment for your sin. You do not have to go to Hell when you die, you can go to Heaven if you only believe on Jesus Christ. Please do so before it's too late.
