23 Alphabetical Attributes of Salvation: Part Twenty-Two

 

22. We're On the Winning Side

1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

This will be brief, because our time on earth grows short. I've been posting these Alphabetical Attributes for some time now, and even though they are rarely read, I know I am doing something here that God wants and is pleased with. This post is about us as Christian believers being the winners because the world is lost and bound for Hell, and we must do what we can to win them to Christ before it's too late.

The previous entry was that we have victory through Christ, and so it follows that we are winners. The world hates us and wants us and our blessed Book to vanish from existence, which we will do one glad day, but not how they want. Satan, the accuser of the brethren, tries to convince us that we will be the losers if we follow Christ, only because he knows he will be the biggest loser the world has ever seen. He makes the worldly think they are winners by blinding their minds and rejecting the Book that would make them true winners. He loves to lie to people and make them think everything is going along great, but he never shows the sin, death, destruction and Hell of an unsaved life after death. If Satan were to tell one truth about God, and people realized what they had been missing in Christ by remaining lost in their sins, then they would know how much of a loser the Devil is. People will realize this after the Time of Jacob's Trouble, when Satan will be cast into the lake of fire:

Isaiah 14:16, 17 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?... 19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

Yes, my friend, we believers are truly winners in Jesus Christ, because the Bible says we are, and nothing can ever change that. No gender confusion, no brainwashing of young minds, no nature worship, no rock'n'roll, no vaccines, no false bibles and religions, no laws by a puppet president with memory problems-- nothing can ever change the Word of God that loudly proclaims all that belong to Jesus Christ are winners, and that we are not of this world. Let the heathen rage and imagine vain things, because that's what losers do. They may have their temporary glory and trophies of the flesh now, but they will all be destroyed. I want to lay up treasures in Heaven. We can look in the back of the Book, and we WIN!

Hebrews 12:1, 2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
