15. Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent
There aren't any verses in the King James Bible with these particular words except "omnipotent." However, their meaning is prevalent throughout Scripture.
God is everywhere (omnipresent), He is all-knowing and all-seeing (omniscient), and He is all-powerful (omnipotent). God alone sees the hearts of men. Man can only see the outside, but God trieth the hearts and reins.
1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
Psalm 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
"Hearts and reins" means the heart, which is man's center of emotions, beliefs and convictions. Reins is the means by which these are exercised, or the will being manifested and controlled. For example, my heart's desire is to see people saved. My reins (control over something) are the outward action of witnessing to them to be saved. God sees all of these, and a true believer will agree with and perform those things that God lays on his heart. He "tries (or searches) the hearts and reins" means He gives you a command to obey Him, and He sees whether you will obey Him or not.
God has given us free will to live for Him or not. He never forces His will on anyone. We must make the choice whether to obey God or man. All throughout Scripture, God tests or tries His people to see if they were obedient or not. For example, in Exodus chapter 32 the Israelites sinned against God by making the golden calf and engaging in sinful orgiastic rituals instead of waiting for Moses to come down from the mount with the ten commandments. Moses got angry with them because God was angry with them. Then they wandered in the wilderness for forty years because God was testing them again. God often tests or tries His children (Christians), and if we do not obey, He will chasten us because He loves us.
1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
Jeremiah 11:4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere all at once. We with our finite minds can't fathom this mystery, but we will know when we get to Heaven because we will be like Christ, with His mind, understanding and wisdom. Thankfully, Satan is NOT omnipresent, even though sometimes it seems like he targets us for a long time. But God knows, and He never gives us more than we can bear. God controls Satan and allows him certain power over our life because He wants us to accept His will for us.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Luke 9:23 And he [Jesus] said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Finally, God is omnipotent. This is my personal favorite attribute of God. I love how He is the Creator of all life on earth, the stars, the grass, the animals. I love how He created our bodies. God is in complete control over all His creation, even the Devil and his angels. We ought to acknowledge God's power over all things, because we are created in His image and He allows us to obey and serve Him.
Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
God is watching you. He wants you to know that He loves you with an everlasting love. God is the One Who sent His only begotten Son to die on the tree for you and for me. It cost the Almighty His only begotten Son to redeem you from the power of death and Hell. Only the Lord Jesus Christ was the spotless, sinless Lamb of God who could take away the sins of the world. Without Jesus you have no hope of Heaven and are bound for an eternity in Hell fire. Please believe on Jesus Christ to save you from Hell. Jesus DIED, was BURIED, and ROSE AGAIN. This is your only hope of Heaven and escape from Hell.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
