There is a big snowstorm where I live, and evening church was cancelled tonight for safety reasons. However, thanks to technology, we now have a phone app with which we can view the services remotely.
I am so thankful for the way God gives people the knowledge to create such devices. As long as they are used for good and to serve the Lord, He blesses them, and blesses those who use them.
I believe nothing can replace being in God's house. To be among the brethren, to pray one for another, to open our King James Bibles and read Scripture together, to know Jesus is in our midst and honors us with His presence, are altogether more profitable than by any other means. But to have this technology at our disposal is wonderful for instances like this, and more so for those who can't physically make it out to church. I believe God is pleased and blesses our church, even when we can't meet together. He wants us in church, no matter how we get there!
I am also grateful to those who went the extra mile to prepare the sermons and Sunday school lessons so we could watch and apply to ourselves the preaching of God's Word.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
