23 Alphabetical Attributes of Salvation: Part Seven

7. God in Human Form

This subject throws many people off, because they neither understand nor do they care how God thinks. Many people assume that God is a force, or that we are god. False religions teach that God is a man, or an animal, or even the earth itself, as deluded new agers like to think. But these are all wrong, because the Bible says otherwise and the Bible is always right.

Psalm 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

The King James Bible is the final authority. No if's, and's or but's, it's the Word of God and no amount of hatred and malice are directed against it, God's Word WILL stand forever. No PERversion is the Word of God, because they are all the word of sinful man. Therefore, they are powerless and worthless.

The Bible says that God came to earth in human form in the Person of Jesus Christ:

Galatians 4:4, 5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

God did this because He is so loving and compassionate, that He didn't want people to go to the same Hell as Satan and his devils will go to, which is why He created Hell in the first place:

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Mankind was never meant to be cast into the lake of fire. In fact, God originally made humans never to die. It was man's sin that brought the curse from God to all humankind when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden. This is the very reason God sent His Son to die for our sins, to redeem us from the curse:

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Salvation is so important. People must know that Jesus Christ loved them so much that He gave the supreme sacrifice in offering Himself to God. Jesus Christ was the only Person to be sinless, so it was Jesus Christ that was the only payment God would accept as the price (ransom) for our sins. It cost God His only begotten Son to take away our sins, and to cast them as far as the east is from the west. God no more remembers our sins when we are born again, because they are under the blood, and God only sees the righteousness of His Son.

Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Romans 3:25, 26 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Because He loved us so much, God condescended Himself and was born of a woman. He suffered more than any human being ever suffered, until He was beaten so badly no one could recognize Him as human. He died on the cross, not from the nails, not from the torture the Romans inflicted on His body, not from the grief that His own people rejected Him, but because He had power over His life to lay it down, and to raise it up again three days later.

John 10:17, 18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

God planned all of this even before time began, because He is eternal. If you are not saved, you ought to take a good look at your life. Lots of people these days reflect and meditate on things that are vain; try meditating on how good God is to you in offering His only Son as your payment for your sins. You'll change your mind quickly, if you allow Him to change your mind.
